My Adventure Maps sits right at the intersection of my two biggest passions: data and endurance sports. By day, I am a PhD candidate at Utrecht University researching Smart Charging, where I spend my time doing data science and creating new optimization algorithms for the energy sector. But in my free time, you will find me pounding the pavement in my running shoes or riding my road bike over the Dutch dikes.

This project didn't start as a business. I love good visualizations, and I wanted a way to visualize my own Strava activities with more precision than other options. I even use some algorithms to plot with high precision without slowing down the page too much.

Over time, my focus shifted. I realized that while I loved the technical complexity, what really mattered was the final product on the wall. I have since refactored the platform with a focus on usability.

Today, I get my energy from helping others visualize their achievements. Whether it's your first marathon or a cycling holiday across Europe or a poster for your friend to celebrate their achievements, I love helping you get exactly the print you want.
