Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about shipping, returns, and privacy.

Where do you ship to and how long does it take?

We deliver to:

  • Europe: Most EU countries, UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Monaco, Liechtenstein.
  • North America: USA, Canada.
  • Australia & New Zealand
  • Asia: Japan, South Korea.

Delivery Time:

  • Digital Downloads: Same-day delivery via email.
  • Printed Posters: Typically 3–7 business days. Around the holidays this can take longer.

We work with local printing partners close to your destination country (e.g., USA, EU, UK, AU). This means your map is produced locally, ensuring fast delivery and a lower carbon footprint. It also typically means no customs fees for shipments to major regions.

Can I return my poster?

Because each poster is custom-made specifically for you based on your unique activities and design choices, we cannot accept returns for change of mind.

However, we want happy customers! If there is a quality issue with your print or if it arrived damaged, please contact us immediately and we will work with you to find a solution.

How is my privacy protected?

Everything runs client side, in your own browser. Your Strava or GPX data is processed locally to build the map, and nothing is sent to our server except the final poster image, your poster settings (map background, line color, text, and so on), and the order details needed to fulfill your order, like size and shipping address.

  • No activity data ever reaches our server: since it never leaves your browser, it can never be stored there, and it can never be leaked.
  • Data erasure: when you close the page, all your activity data is erased everywhere, including from the browser session.
  • Order data: only the final poster image, your poster settings, and the details needed to print and send your order are stored securely.
What is the paper quality?

We use premium, museum-quality paper (240gsm) with a matte finish. It minimizes reflections, ensures colors pop beautifully, and is durable enough to last for years.

What is the image quality?

Our tool renders at 300 DPI, the industry standard for professional printing. Every line, text, and detail on your map is razor-sharp.

Do you sell frames?

We currently only sell the prints themselves. Our posters use standard ISO sizes (A4, A3, 50×70 cm, etc.) so you can easily find affordable frames at local stores.

Can I edit my map after ordering?

Our printing process is automated for speed. Once an order is placed it is sent directly to the nearest printing facility, so we usually cannot make changes after submission. Please double-check your title, dates, and map style in the preview before ordering!

I don't have Strava, can I still make a map?

Yes! Use our "Upload GPX, TCX or FIT" feature. Most fitness apps (Garmin, Runkeeper, Apple Watch, etc.) let you export activities as GPX, TCX or FIT files. Just upload them, no Strava account needed. Got the wrong file format? Our free GPX/TCX/FIT converter fixes that in seconds.

Can I gift a poster?

Yes! It's easy to create a map for someone else while keeping it a 100% secret. Use the GPX/TCX/FIT Upload feature, no access to their Strava needed. Check the Gift page for a step-by-step guide.

I can see their activity on Strava, but I don't have their password. Can I still make a poster?

Yes. If you can open the activity page, because you follow each other on Strava or the activity is public, use the ··· menu on that page and choose Export GPX. It downloads to your device with your own Strava login. They don't need to give you a password.

Then upload the GPX file with our Gift page's "Upload GPX" option to build the poster. If you can't view the activity at all because it's set to private, send them our gift link instead. They authorize with Strava on their end without sharing a password.

Will they be notified if I view or export their Strava activity?

No. Viewing an activity or exporting its GPX file is a normal Strava action and doesn't send any notification. It's a safe way to keep the poster a complete surprise.

Can I make a map for any activity?

Absolutely! Our tool works with any GPS-recorded activity: running, cycling, motorcycling, sailing, paragliding, skiing, rowing, hiking and more. If you have the GPX/TCX/FIT file or Strava activity, you can turn it into a beautiful poster.

The route or race I'm looking for isn't listed, can you still make it?

In most cases, yes. GPX files for the vast majority of races and popular routes are already floating around online, so we can usually track one down and add it ourselves. If we truly can't find it, reach out through the contact page and we'll add it to the site.

This is also handy for gifts: order a poster of a race someone ran without them ever finding out beforehand, then fill in their name, finish time, date, or photos afterward. Everything else about the design stays fully customizable too.
