Custom bikepacking adventure map poster, printed from a multi-day GPX file
The perfect bikepacking gift

Frame the whole adventure, not just the destination.

A bikepacking trip is more than a cycling event. It is a week or more of decisions, detours, and discoveries that nobody else shared. A custom bikepacking route poster captures the full arc of that journey: from the start point to the last night's camp, every pass crossed and every road taken. Multi-day GPX files can be large and complex, but our rendering engine handles them smoothly. No lag, no dropped points, no missing sections. The complete route, printed in sharp detail.

  • Upload full multi-day GPX files of any size
  • Show the elevation profile across the entire journey
  • Add daily stages or waypoints with custom labels
  • Order a large-format print ready to hang the moment it arrives
  • Can't log into their Strava? You don't have to. Export the GPX from any activity you can already view, then upload it here. More on this in our gift guide

“I uploaded a 7-day Trans-Pyrenees GPX and it loaded in seconds. The poster turned out incredible. Worth every cent.”

The Journey

Why bikepacking routes make the best posters.

A 3-hour cycling route makes a clean poster. A 7-day bikepacking route makes a piece of art. The distance, the terrain, and the sheer scale of a multi-day adventure translate beautifully onto paper. Every pass, every river crossing, and every forest track shows up in the map detail. Add the elevation profile and the full story is told in a single image.

📁

Large GPX files, no problem

Our rendering engine handles multi-day bikepacking files smoothly. Upload routes of any size without lag or missing sections.

🏔

Full elevation profile

See every pass and every valley across the entire journey. The elevation profile runs along the bottom of your poster and covers the complete route.

Topographic detail

Questions people ask about this poster

What can I customize on a bikepacking map?

Quite a lot, and most of it matters more on a trip like this than on a single afternoon ride. Route color and line width, map style, title and date, distance and total elevation gained across the whole trip, your name, and photos from along the way. If someone rode part of the route with you, Together Mode lets you combine both tracks on the same map.

Single route or heatmap for a multi-day trip?

If the whole trip was really one continuous journey from start to finish, single route mode keeps it as one line, showing the full distance you covered day after day. Heatmap mode makes more sense if you explored side trails, doubled back, or took a different way home than you came, since it shows every track you uploaded rather than forcing them into a single line.

Minimal line or colored by elevation and speed?

A plain color usually suits the overall shape of a long trip best, since the route itself, crossing whatever mountains, coastlines or borders you rode through, is already the point. Coloring by elevation is worth it if the trip mixed serious climbing days with flat ones and you want that contrast visible on the map. Coloring by speed matters less here than on a single ride, since pace naturally varies a lot across multiple days of touring.

My bikepacking route isn't a known trail, can I still make a poster?

Yes. Upload the GPX files from each day of the trip, exported from Strava, Komoot, or your GPS device, and the map is built from your own track rather than a preset route. That works whether you followed a named long-distance trail or planned the whole thing yourself.

Can a multi-day bikepacking trip across a large area fit on one map?

Yes. The map automatically scales and centers itself to fit the full extent of whatever you upload, whether that's a loop through one region or a route across several countries. Upload each day as a separate file and combine them into one continuous route, or use heatmap mode if the days don't connect into a single line, and the poster will show the entire trip at once rather than cropping any of it out.
