The Tour de France turns ordinary mountain roads into legendary terrain. Riders who make the trip to ride Alpe d’Huez, Mont Ventoux, or the Galibier are following in the wheel tracks of the greatest cyclists in history. A custom climb poster captures that. Upload the GPX from your own ascent, or use one of our pre-loaded route previews to design a poster before you even make the trip. Either way, the result is a clean, detailed map of one of cycling’s most iconic roads, printed on 240gsm paper and shipped anywhere in the world. Rated 5 stars on Trustpilot.
“Rode Alpe d’Huez last summer and had a custom poster made from my Strava data. The 21 hairpins are all there. Best souvenir I could have got.”

The Climbs
Tour de France climbs are not just difficult. They are places with genuine history: attacks launched, careers made, and moments that defined the sport. If you have ridden one of these roads yourself, you know the feeling of arriving at the top. A custom climb poster records that, with your GPS trace, your colors, and your name.
21 hairpins, 1,100m of climbing, and more Tour de France stage wins than anywhere else. The most famous climb in road cycling.
The Giant of Provence. An isolated summit that looks like a lunar landscape and breaks cyclists in ways other climbs do not.
One of the highest and most brutal Alpine passes on the Tour route. A long, steady grind to over 2,600m.
Add a clean elevation graph to your poster showing the gradient of the climb exactly as your GPS recorded it.
Choose your route line color and map style to match the character of each climb. Dark and dramatic for Ventoux. Bright and bold for Alpe d’Huez.

That depends on how many times you've climbed it. If this was one ride, a race day or a bucket-list trip, single route mode draws that one ascent as a clean line up the mountain. If you've gone back to the same climb year after year, plenty of our customers ride Ventoux every summer with the same club, heatmap mode stacks every GPX file on top of each other so the poster shows your whole history with that mountain, not just one trip up it.
Gradient is the whole story on a mountain climb, so elevation shading earns its place here. It shows exactly where Alpe d’Huez’s hairpins bite hardest, or where Ventoux eases briefly through the forest before the exposed final kilometers. A single flat color is the better call if you want the poster to read as a shape first, the switchbacks and the summit, without the color doing extra work.
You pick the map style, alpine granite for the Galibier looks nothing like the pale scrubland around Ventoux, plus the route color and line thickness, and whether the elevation profile sits alongside the map. Title it with the climb's name, the date, or your time at the summit, and drop in your own photo from the top if you took one. Size and paper are separate choices at checkout.
Plenty of Tour climbs already have a preview loaded so you can see the poster before you've even ridden them. If yours isn't one of them yet, upload the GPX from your own ride instead, exported from Strava, Garmin or Wahoo, and it works exactly the same way. Tell us which col is missing and we'll usually add a preview for it too.
Yes. If you rode several climbs on the same trip, say the Galibier one day and Alpe d'Huez the next, upload each day's GPX file and layer them onto a single map using heatmap mode. Instead of showing repeat visits to one climb, the poster shows every col from that trip at once, so it becomes a record of the whole week in the mountains rather than a single ascent.
