The climb from Bédoin barely lets up for 21 kilometers, so an elevation gradient mostly shows one long, steady rise rather than distinct sections, without the dramatic ups and downs some other climbs display. A single strong color often reads better here, letting the length of the line itself say something about how long that climb really is.

The map background, route color and line weight, your title text, and your name and finish time are all yours to set. Distance and elevation gain can be added as numbers, a personal photo can go on the page, and Together Mode merges two riders onto one poster if you climbed it together.

Most riders order this as a single route, since one ascent of the Giant of Provence is already a story worth telling on its own. Heatmap mode fits better if you've climbed Ventoux more than once by different roads, from Bédoin, Malaucène, or Sault, and want all of them layered onto the same map.

Ventoux has three routes to the summit, and the Bédoin side is the one most people mean by default, but if you rode up from Malaucène or Sault, or started somewhere else entirely, upload your own GPX file or connect Strava and we'll map that exact ride instead.

The white limestone summit above the treeline is part of what makes Ventoux recognizable, and a map style with a plainer, lighter background tends to echo that look better than a busy, colorful one. Add the elevation profile to the poster and that final stretch past the treeline, the section that runs by the Tom Simpson memorial, shows up as the steep, exposed run to the top that it really is.
