Article 1. Use of the Website & Content

This website is designed to create unique, personalized posters and digital files (PDF) from your sports activities.

1. Your own activities: The service is intended for visualizing your own activities.
2. Third-party activities: If you connect to someone else's Strava account or use GPX files that you did not create, you guarantee that you have explicit (written) permission from the person concerned.
3. Indemnification: You indemnify My Adventure Maps against claims from third parties regarding the use of data or files for which you do not have the right of use.

Article 2. Quality and Delivery

We are committed to delivering prints and digital files of the highest quality.

1. Visual representation: Our website shows a digital preview of your map. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of the map (routes, texts and colors) before ordering.
2. Complaints: If the physical print arrives damaged or contains production errors, please contact us immediately by email. We will gladly work with you to find a suitable solution, such as a free reprint.

Article 3. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Because we sell personalized products, specific rules apply regarding returns.

A. Physical Posters (Customized)

The right of withdrawal is excluded for our posters. Because each poster is printed individually based on your specific route and data (custom-made), we cannot accept returns if you simply changed your mind.
* Exception: Is the print damaged or not qualitatively in order due to our error? Then we will resolve this, of course (see Article 2).

B. Digital Downloads (PDF)

For the purchase of digital content (such as PDF downloads), the right of withdrawal expires once the delivery has started.

• By placing an order for a PDF, you agree to immediate delivery and declare that you waive your right of withdrawal as soon as the download link has been made available to you. Refunds for downloaded files are therefore not possible.

Article 4. Cancellations

Do you wish to cancel an order? Please respond as soon as possible.

1. Physical orders: Send an email immediately. If the printing process has not yet started, we can cancel the order free of charge and refund the amount. If the product has already been printed or shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
2. Digital orders: Given the immediate delivery, digital orders cannot be cancelled after payment.
3. Cancellation by us: In exceptional cases (e.g. unclear data or technical errors in the file), we reserve the right to cancel the order. You will then receive a full refund of the purchase price.

Article 5. Liability

1. My Adventure Maps is not liable for damage caused by incorrect use of the products.
2. Our liability is limited to a maximum of the invoice amount of the order in question, unless there is intent or conscious recklessness on our part. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage.

Article 6. Payment

Prices include VAT. Payments are securely processed via our payment partner. No delivery can take place without full payment.

Article 7. Governing Law & Liability (Important)

Governing Law: All legal relationships to which My Adventure Maps is a party are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

Jurisdiction: Disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the district of Midden-Nederland, the Netherlands.

International Liability (Non-EU Customers): TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY ADVENTURE MAPS DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES. IN NO EVENT SHALL MY ADVENTURE MAPS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NEVER EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT.
